\n- Data Pipeline Development & Maintenance:
- Assist in building and maintaining ETL/data pipelines using Python for processing large-scale datasets.
- Support the orchestration of data workflows under the guidance of senior team members.
- Cloud Infrastructure Support:
- Collaborate in configuring and maintaining AWS services like EC2, S3, EMR and RDS.
- Support data storage, retrieval workflows, and ensure the reliability of cloud infrastructure.
- Legacy System Support:
- Help in maintaining and troubleshooting legacy systems.
- Participate in migration initiatives to modern cloud-based solutions.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Work with monitoring tools to track system performance and identify potential issues.
- Assist in setting up alerts and dashboards for real-time tracking
- .Documentation & Collaboration:
- Document data workflows and processes to improve team knowledge-sharing.
- Contribute to team discussions on best practices and technical improvements.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field (internship experience is acceptable).
- Programming Skills: Basic proficiency in Python and familiarity with Linux Bash scripting.
- Frameworks: Exposure to tools like Luigi or similar orchestration frameworks is a plus.
- Data Processing: Understanding of SQL and working with structured data storage solutions.
- Cloud Services: Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EMR and RDS is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: A keen interest in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Learning Mindset: Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail in coding, documentation, and process execution.
- Basic Analytics Knowledge: Familiarity with data analysis concepts is a plus.
