Job Description

The AbbVie Business Technology Solutions (BTS) team shapes the digital transformation necessary for our treatments to positively impact patients’ lives. The primary function of the Program and Release Manager is to work closely with digital lab, agencies, project, and platform teams to establish and execute release plan for all the project and changes for 100+ websites hosted on AbbVie’s Digital Marketing Platform (build on AEM).
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Release management, change management, preparing for exceptional global product launches that includes digital marketing, marketing campaign, and customer engagement in highly competitive therapeutic areas.
Establishing, gathering, and presenting release management and operational KPIs to senior leadership.
Delivering and exceeding business expectations by assuring project teams follow company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards, by adhering to compliance and release management processes.
Effectively leading projects and delivering high-quality work products in a timely fashion to meet deadlines and commitments.
Providing strategic direction for integrating marketing technology products with other technologies and platforms.
Proactively identifying and assisting in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and system processes.
Identifying new opportunities for innovation (technologies, markets, partners, trends). Develop strategic briefs, presentations, and analyses.
Following Company policies, with strong adherence to the corporate values, including risk & compliance requirements.
Building a highly motivated and talented team. Define resource capacity plan. Coaching on leadership development, technology solutions, and issue resolutions. Actively and effectively communicating across teams and all key stakeholder groups.
Managing team budget, ensuring spending is optimally allocated and accurately tracked across functions on a quarterly basis.
Establishing high-quality relationships with all cross-functional teams within the company and developing thorough understanding and knowledge of the business, and challenges.
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
Web Content Management stack (front end, back end, servers)
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
Can motivate and influence others without direct management authority.
Ability to understand and organize programs and project tasks for several different cross-functional business teams.
Analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use data to build and present business cases to key stakeholders.
Highly organized, meets project deadlines, and proactively delivers business objectives.
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
Qualifications
Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:
Required
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years’ experience; master’s degree with 7 years’ experience; or PhD with 3 years’ experience.
3+ years of Program/project management work experience
3+ Years Experience in Web Content Management
A deep understanding of digital mediums, technologies, and trends, including Content Management, websites, web analytics, digital tools, and data integration.
3+ years’ Experience with agile methodologies, scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
Beneficial

ITIL/ PMP Certification
