Acentra seeks a Business Analyst to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will be a key member of our Advanced Analytics and AI team and will collaborate closely with Acentra Health's various departments to assess all process and workflow requirements. Your primary responsibility will be creating well-crafted and easily comprehensible documentation for solutions aimed at enhancing operational productivity, overall efficiency, and patient outcomes.
This position can be performed remotely, however candidates based in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area are preferred to allow for hybrid work opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Analytics and AI team along with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics and AI to enhance services, processes, and products
- Assist in defining project objectives, ensuring their alignment with overarching business goals
- Develop clear and concise documentation of solution requirements, methodologies, outcomes, and recommendations, encompassing workflows, program functions, and guidance for the development or modification of systems and applications
- Assist the Sr Director of Analytics to create detailed plans and specifications, including estimating time requirements, setting deadlines, monitoring milestone achievements, and tracking all phases of the project's product/service lifecycle
- Create training materials and offer support to end-users, facilitating the successful adoption of AI and analytics solutions within the organization
- Support the Sr Director of Analytics and AI Ambassador in the staging and execution of Elevate AI. Elevate AI is Acentra Health’s internal initiative to support the responsible use of AI throughout all functional business areas to improve operational efficiency in tasks and workflows
- Participate in the development and implementation of best practices and procedures for Analytics and AI initiatives.

- BA degree in Business or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience considered
- Three to five years of business process analysis, business process design, and project management experience
- Excellent writing skills with experience producing content for technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to test software and document processes, both new and existing
- Advanced problem-solving skills that can be applied to business challenges
- Proven project management and leadership abilities, including expertise in gathering clear business requirements for various projects
- Demonstrated experience in developing, documenting, and designing detailed process flows and establishing operational performance and quality metric standards and reports
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical internal/external customers
- Capacity to maintain a positive attitude and contribute both individually and as a team member to achieve the department's objectives
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Healthcare industry or government health and human service program experience
- Familiarity with data analytics and AI/ML concepts and techniques is a plus

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $75,000-85,000
“Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.”
