Overview of the Role:
The role revolves around transforming raw video footage into polished, engaging videos tailored for diverse platforms such as social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. Collaborating closely with the creative team, you conceptualize video ideas, create storyboards, and develop scripts to achieve compelling narratives. Enhancing video quality with visual effects, graphics, and sound is key to maintaining viewer engagement and reinforcing brand consistency. Additionally, you manage video assets and project files efficiently, staying current with evolving editing techniques and industry trends.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished and compelling videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts, storyboards, and scripts.
- Add visual effects, graphics, and sound to enhance video quality and engage viewers.
- Ensure consistency of branding and messaging across all video content.
- Manage and organize video assets and project files.
- Stay up to date with the latest video editing techniques and industry trends.
- 3 years of experience as a Video Editor
- Experience with eCommerce is preferred
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good Communication skills
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Broadcasting, or a related field is preferred.
