Role Overview:
The Performance Video Editor will be responsible for creating and editing engaging video ads for Facebook and other social media platforms. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide creative ad strategies, ensuring our content is compelling and optimized for performance.
Responsibilities:
- Edit short- and long-form video content for social media platforms, particularly Facebook.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative ad strategies and concepts.
- Review and understand project briefs to ensure all video content aligns with campaign goals.
- Assemble raw footage, add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to create polished final cuts.
- Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine video content.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure all videos meet brand guidelines and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Analyze video performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize future content.
Requirements
Required:
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and video ad formats, particularly Facebook.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive video content.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and effectively communicate creative ideas.
- Knowledge of video encoding formats, aspect ratios, and high-resolution file transfer applications.
Preferred:
- Experience with sound design and audio editing.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
- Knowledge of best practices for optimizing video content for social media.
