Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and a passion for creating engaging content that aligns with our brand's vision and marketing strategies. As a Video Editor at Kreatures of Habit, you will play a key role in producing high-quality video content for our digital and social media channels, promotional materials, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Production:
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality final products that meet the company’s brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
- Create engaging video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, digital ads, and internal presentations.
Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts that effectively communicate brand messages and drive audience engagement.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, sound, and music to enhance video content and align with the overall creative direction.
Project Management:
- Manage video projects from start to finish, including organizing footage, ensuring timely delivery, and adhering to project specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather project requirements, feedback, and revisions.
Quality Assurance:
- Review and critique video content to ensure high standards of visual and audio quality, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to video production, editing, or format.
Trend Awareness:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production, editing techniques, and social media platforms to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Apply industry best practices to enhance video production processes and outputs.
Creative Collaboration:
- Work closely with other creative team members, including graphic designer to produce cohesive and effective content.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of innovative video content strategies.
Experience:
- Relevant video editing experience, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in editing and producing high-quality video content.
- Experience in editing videos for consumer packaged goods (CPG) or related industries is a plus.
Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, including color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives through video.
- Highly creative with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
