Scope of the role:
We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to design, develop, and optimize Shopify e-commerce websites. This role involves custom theme development, third-party integrations, UX/UI improvements, and performance optimization. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly online stores aligned with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Shopify Development
- Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates for visually engaging online stores.
- Build new Shopify features, functionalities, and integrate third-party apps.
- Optimize website performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
E-Commerce Support
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and platform-related challenges.
- Ensure Shopify sites follow security and stability best practices.
UX/UI Design
- Work closely with designers to ensure websites reflect brand identity and provide a great user experience.
- Conduct user experience testing to refine functionality and increase conversions.
API and Integration Management
- Implement API integrations for third-party services, payment gateways, and inventory systems.
- Develop custom Shopify apps and features as needed.
Analytics and Reporting
- Set up and manage analytics tools like Google Analytics and Shopify dashboards.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for improving e-commerce performance.
- C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must Have)
- 2+ years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus (Must have).
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery (Must Have).
- Experience with Git version control (Must Have).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
- Experience with third-party app integrations and custom Shopify app development.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
