Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: Mondays - Fridays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST

Compensation: USD 1,000 - 1,300/month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. Your responsibilities will include recording and categorizing financial transactions, preparing journal entries, and tracking expenses. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with tech and e-commerce clients, proficiency in QuickBooks Online, intermediate Excel skills, and experience with US clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Transaction Recording: Accurately record all financial transactions including sales, expenses, payments, and deposits.

  • Categorization of Transactions: Properly categorize transactions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate.

  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they are recorded properly and categorized correctly.

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.

  • Compliance: Ensure all financial practices align with US GAAP standards and company policies.

  • Software Utilization: Effectively use QuickBooks Online and Excel for bookkeeping tasks.

Requirements:

Must-haves:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably for tech and e-commerce clients.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple accounts and financial transactions efficiently.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QB OL) for managing financial records and transactions.

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data.

  • Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Readiness and ability to operate within Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Understanding of US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting is a plus.

  • Experience working with US clients.
