The Role
The Project Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and driving the successful execution of projects while contributing to BlackTeal Energy’s mission of advancing energy storage and management technologies. This position will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects on time and within budget, focusing on innovation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless coordination, mitigate risks, and drive sustainable solutions that align with company goals. Additionally, they will support the integration of AI-driven advancements and cutting-edge methodologies to enhance project outcomes and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of energy storage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and researchers, to ensure seamless project integration and execution.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and partners.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight on battery technologies, control systems, BMS, and AI integration.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and technical specifications.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the energy storage or related industry.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of battery technologies, control systems, BMS, AI applications in energy storage, and supply chain processes.
Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Able to identify and grow talent.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Travel: Must have or be eligible to obtain a US VISA and be able to travel to the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with market trends and competitive dynamics in the energy storage sector.
Artificial Intelligence: Familiarity with integrating AI-driven solutions into projects.
Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and data analysis tools.
