Airalo is looking for a skilled Senior iOS engineer who is ready to learn and willing to join our expert team developing new features and extending the existing ones in our main product. We welcome talented, passionate, innovative, result-oriented professionals who strive to absorb new knowledge and technologies and are willing to use them.
\n- Designing and developing enterprise-quality software components based on product specifications
- Developing new features or enhancements to existing features
- Extend and improve engineering best practices in the teams
- Oversee major changes to our iOS architecture
- Troubleshooting technical and application problems
- Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize developer efficiency
- Work with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver best in class user experience and collaborate closely with local and global colleagues
- Mentor and support other developers on your team with code reviews, design feedback, and other advice and guidance
- Preparing technical documentation related to the iOS application to enrich the knowledge base
- Staying current with best practices and bringing new ideas to the team.
- Writing quality code, following guidelines, and implementing tests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a similar discipline
- Minimum 5 years of development experience in an agile team with Swift/Objective C
- Published & supported continuously developed one or multiple iOS apps
- Expertise in MVVM, VIPER and similar modern architectures
- Proficiency in Git, Gitflow, branching, and merging strategies
- Proficiency in OOP concept and design patterns
- Proficiency in iOS Framework
- Proven good experience in payment systems, and marketplaces
- Experience pixel perfect implementation and auto-layout
- Good understanding and usage of design patterns
- Knowledge about data structures, algorithms, processes, and memory management
- Team player and open to new ideas
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience in Unit Test/Feature Test/Mocking
- Good communication skills and fluency in English
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
- Experience in A/B testing
- Prior experience with SCRUM and other agile methods
- Prior work experience in telecommunications
- Knowledge of eSIM and GSMA related technologies and services
