As an Associate Technical Product Manager you will be a key member of the team that designs technical, service and content solutions to support Aledade’s various lines of business. The Associate Technical Product Manager works alongside product team members, business owners, data analysts, designers and engineers to develop and refine requirements, project goals, solution scope, implementation approach, and rollout plans.
Product team members are the interface between business strategy and technology development, ensuring the creation of high-quality products that can scale effectively. At Aledade, you will be working on an ecosystem of applications, sophisticated analytics, and a robust set of integration capabilities to enable primary care practices, operational teams, and external partners to deliver innovative value-based care programs, technology and services that improve the health and wellbeing of our patients.
As an Associate Product Manager, you’ll report to and be mentored by a more senior Product Manager at Aledade. You will be hands-on building innovative technology while you develop your skills as a product manager. - Partner with business owners to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective.
- Ongoing optimization of live user workflows and capabilities including monitoring of key metrics & user feedback
- Work with internal teams and end users to develop a deep understanding of requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution.
- Write detailed user stories for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes.
- Develop short-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- 2+ years of product management or similar technology experience in large healthcare organizations, product development or SaaS platforms.
- Experience using data and primary research to inform business decision making
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving, prioritization, and building subject matter expertise.
- Experience participating in Agile / Scrum teams or using Agile methodology/concepts in product development
- Experience with data, data structures (e.g. relational databases), relevant or similar analytics platforms and tech stacks (e.g. Tableau, Snowflake, ETL, healthcare data sets, etc)
- Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Trello
- Experience evaluating workflows and operational processes, conducting user research
- Experience managing delivery processes, such as enhancement request
- Experience creating wireframes independently and in coordination with designers
- Experience writing clear specifications / technical writing
- Experience working with process documentation tools
- Familiarity working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets
- Experience developing software products or analytics, especially healthcare-related
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of alternative payment models related to primary care such as MSSP ACOs, Pioneer ACOs, commercial insurance shared savings programs, PCMH.
