JOB REQUISITES AND OVERVIEW
The Jr. Strategist will assist and provide support for our Client Solutions team, which oversees accounts and strategy for clients utilizing two or more service lines. The job entails managing a wide range of marketing processes and projects related to the daily operations of high-profile entertainment clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with Account Directors across a variety of clients, including all aspects of client solutions and service lines such as strategy, performance marketing, creative, influencers, paid media, etc.
- Visibility and experience across multiple territories both National and Global
- Support team with tasks related to campaign management, such as:
- Agenda planning, scheduling, recaps, and notes
- Artwork/creative briefing and trafficking
- Campaign and KPI tracking
- Settlement/budget management and client billing
- Follow up with team on items due in the coming week and flag past due items to team leads
- Build reporting and strategy document outlines in PowerPoint for team input
- Tee up daily topline performance reporting and edit/proof the email. Send client-ready items to team leads
- Proof and format client facing documents and reports
- Help maintain and monitor media plan documents, client files etc
- Research and report on marketing trends applicable to client industry
- Maintain project management system for documenting and tracking activities
- Report regularly to supervisor on current work progress and above duties
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THE JOB
- Sound understanding of marketing principles
- Effective understanding of media and latest technologies, ability to apply them in marketing endeavors
- Digital media experience, media planning or understanding a plus
- Understanding of budgeting an reconciliation
- Willingness to share creative and innovative thoughts with team members and clients
- Great ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and multi-step procedures autonomously
- Strong attention to detail with ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective project management skills and organization
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
- Strong ability to cold call and build relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in a marketing support role
- BS/BA degree preferred or relevant experience
