Summary of Role & Key Responsibilities

This role is part of our Sustainable Products, Packaging and Circularity advisory business with 50% time focused on helping to bring Anthesis’ new screening LCA, scenario and scope 3 portfolio footprinting tool to customers.

We are looking to hire an Associate Director to join both our Sustainable Products, Packaging and Circularity (SPPC) advisory business and our fast-growing Digital business. Your role is to help bring more sustainable solutions to client products by helping to bring Anthesis’ new tool to customers, as well as to sell and deliver a variety of consultancy projects.

As a member of the Digital team, you will bring market knowledge and software new business development experience to optimizing the roadmap and uptake for Anthesis software tools focused on LCA and eco-design. Similarly, you will bring expertise in sustainable products and/or circularity to contribute to both client work and business development. Specifically, you will lead and contribute to project tasks, review project deliverables, and present work to clients; as well as contribute to business development processes such as identifying potential leads and developing scopes of work.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • 50% focused on:
    • bringing market wisdom to the roadmap for our fast-developing LCA/scenario tool and 
    • driving new business development for this tool in the Americas. 
  • 50% focused on sales and delivery of sustainability consultancy projects focused variously on sustainable products, packaging, LCA and/or circularity


Key Requirements & Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 10+ years of applied experience in product sustainability or circularity 
  • 2+ years of software sales experience 
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • LCA or Sustainability SaaS experience preferred
  • Proven ability to build a successful sales pipeline
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in cultivating strong relationships within the customer base
  • Tech sector experience desirable but not required.
