Job Description
We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and scale our marketing efforts as we move toward the next phase of growth. We need a strategic leader who thrives in a "player-coach" role—someone ready to roll up their sleeves while simultaneously building and mentoring a high-performing marketing team. In this position you’ll play a critical part in driving both the strategy and execution of our marketing efforts, working directly with the CRO and cross-functionally with other leaders across the business.
The ideal candidate has experience across marketing disciplines and a proven track record of building and scaling a demand generation function to drive growth. You have a unique blend of creativity and data-driven decisioning with a penchant for processes and results. You have a passion for maximizing marketing efforts through each stage of the funnel and love finding the right mix of strategies and tactics at various stages of growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that supports company growth goals across both new and existing customers.
- Demand Generation: Build and optimize scalable demand gen programs to deliver high-quality leads and pipeline growth aligned with revenue targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales, customer success, partner, and product teams to align marketing efforts with broader company objectives.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a growing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.
- Campaign Management: Oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, content, digital ads, webinars, and events, ensuring they deliver measurable results.
- Brand and Messaging: Refine and maintain consistent brand positioning and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Event Marketing: Lead the strategy and execution for trade shows, conferences, and virtual events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Analytics and Reporting: Define key performance metrics, measure results, and communicate the impact of marketing initiatives to stakeholders.
- Vendor Management: Own relationships with key vendor-partners including agencies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with 2+ years in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong expertise in demand generation, with a track record of building and scaling programs that drive measurable revenue impact.
- Broad experience across marketing disciplines, including digital marketing, product marketing, content marketing, and event marketing.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor teams while executing hands-on as needed.
- Data-driven mindset with a deep understanding of marketing analytics and ROI measurement.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience in financial services or marketing to credit unions/banks is a plus but not required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Financial Service Institutions, including Community Banks, Credit Unions
- Experience scaling or being a part of the scaling of a marketing organization at a SaaS company.
- Experience executing in demand gen and event marketing roles as an individual contributor.
