We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Linux systems administration, engineering, and architecture. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of Linux-based systems and infrastructure located in multiple facilities and data centers. The ideal candidate will ensure that all enterprise Linux systems are operable, highly available, secure, and scalable. As an Infrastructure Engineer Level II, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers.
- 7+ years as a Microsoft Windows Stack engineer.
- 7+ years or more of experience designing, building, and running infrastructure for a high transactional, large-scale distributed, 24x7 production environment
- 7+ years as a Linux (CentOS preferred) engineer.
- 2+ years of scripting experience (bash, python, etc… Powershell preferred)
- Familiar with automation tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform)
- 2+ years of experience administering public Cloud Services, Azure preferred
- 2+ years with Internet Security Firewall, Intrusion Detection, NAT, DMZ, VPN Technologies.
· Infrastructure Design & Implementation:
o Design and deploy Linux-based infrastructure to support business applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
o Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure IT infrastructure solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business.
o Configure and maintain physical and virtual servers, network devices, storage solutions, and cloud services.
o Collaborate with software and DevOps teams to design systems that meet application and infrastructure requirements.
· Systems Administration & Maintenance:
o Manage and monitor servers (Linux, Windows) and network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
o Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and patch management.
o Conduct regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning/testing.
o Proactively identify and resolve issues with infrastructure components such as servers, storage, and networking.
