About this role:
Astronomer is seeking a seasoned Digital Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in demand generation and integrated digital advertising campaigns. This role will be responsible for coordinating, supporting, and executing digital campaigns through various online marketing channels to drive brand awareness and lead generation in support of our overall pipeline goals.
What you get to do:
Gain an in-depth understanding of existing and prospective customers to better tailor strategies and tactics that convert them into qualified leads.
Identify and optimize opportunities within our digital advertising portfolio, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms, to develop effective marketing solutions that improve campaign performance and contribute to revenue growth.
Generate detailed reports that distill engagement, lead acquisition, and other key performance metrics into actionable insights for business-wide applications.
Develop and implement the most effective and cost-efficient strategies for both direct response and brand awareness campaigns.
Design and conduct A/B and multivariate experiments across managed channels to accelerate learning and enhance campaign performance.
Collaborate with in-house and/or external design and product marketing teams to produce compelling creative assets, such as landing pages, ad copy, videos, and display materials.
Collaborate with Marketing Ops to ensure accurate tracking and measurement of campaign performance.
Oversee and manage the digital marketing budget, allocate resources efficiently, and forecast monthly costs and returns.
Stay updated with the digital marketing trends and tools by continuously researching new technologies and leveraging them to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
What you bring to the role:
Experience managing campaigns across a variety of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ad, Bing Ads, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, and Facebook.
An outcome-oriented mindset with a track record of driving actual business results, such as user growth and increased revenue.
Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, as well as testing tools for optimization such as Optimizely and Mutiny.
Extensive experience with marketing automation systems like Hubspot and Marketo and familiarity with a range of digital marketing tools.
Comfortable analyzing data, managing KPIs, and optimizing conversion rates, with a strategic mindset to drive business objectives.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization, both internally and externally.
Bonus points if you have:
5+ years working in digital marketing, growth marketing, user acquisition, and demand gen areas.
Advanced data analytics capabilities and excellent copywriting skills
The estimated salary for this role ranges from $135,000-$165,000, along with an equity component. This range is merely an estimate, and the width of the range reflects willingness to consider candidates with broad prior seniority. Actual compensation may deviate from this range based on skills, experience, and qualification
