Description
We are looking for a Staff Engineer to join our Governance team. This role is crucial as we expand our Governance capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system design and the ability to implement high-quality, scalable solutions. You will own an upcoming module from a technology perspective, working closely with the product team to ensure that development aligns with business priorities.
\n- Convert business requirements into high-level and low-level designs, ensuring that solutions align with the overall architecture.
- Develop high-quality, robust systems by following best practices and industry standards.
- Identify scalability and stability challenges within the system and proactively plan for iterative improvements.
- Participate in code reviews and problem-solving brainstorming sessions to maintain code quality and encourage collaborative thinking.
- Collaborate closely with the product team to ensure that development efforts are prioritized correctly and aligned with business needs.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
- Proficiency in Java or Go, with a strong understanding of distributed systems, ElasticSearch, and concurrency/multithreading.
- Experience with Kubernetes and multi-tenancy or vClusters.
