About the role
We are seeking an exceptional individual who is passionate about the field of People Ops/Human Resources and eager to contribute to our team as a People Ops Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of People Ops/HR projects and tasks, including onboarding/offboarding, scheduling, payroll support, compliance, and more. If you have a genuine interest in People Ops and HR, possess excellent organizational skills, and enjoy working on diverse tasks, this internship is an excellent fit for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Recruiting Team in scheduling and coordinating interviews for prospective candidates.
- Team up with our People Ops crew to make sure new hires have a smooth onboarding experience by helping coordinate and schedule activities.
- Join us in orchestrating the annual performance review process, making sure it goes off without a hitch.
- Research and assess potential HR platforms for future implementation and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on the ever-changing world of HR-related state laws and regulations, and whip up documents summarizing the latest changes.
- Become our timekeeping guru, managing hourly employee time cards, including their daily clock-ins and outs.
- Assist in gathering and documenting references for new hires.
- Add your creativity to our events by lending a hand with the documentation and coordination of in-person gatherings.
- Keep a close eye on our HR catch-all email account, ensuring we respond promptly and keep everything well-documented.
What we expect from you:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, People Ops, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- You’re a team player that can follow and lead as situations dictate
