Description
We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing and dynamic team. The DevOps engineer will be involved in all aspects of DevOps and SecOps practices within the company, utilizing the latest technologies and trends in the industry. You will establish automation techniques and guidelines in working with the development, QA, and Product teams within an AWS environment, using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, ECS, KMS, MSK, Terraform, and others. Having a security background is a big plus in SOC and PCI compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Maintain and create Dockerfiles and Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and Ansible
- Experience with Python, Ruby, Bash, or another scripting language
- Use ticket management systems such as Jira and Confluence to manage work priorities
- Work closely with developers on the team to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to clearly articulate and communicate complex technical ideas to non-DevOps colleagues
- Ability to understand project requirements and be innovative in finding solutions in highly regulated environments
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in the DevOps field
- Background in Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef, Ansible preferred)
- Experience working with CI/CD systems and technologies
- Experience with Version Control Systems (subversion, git preferred)
- Experience with developing production-grade code in a DevOps organization
- High level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters with an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
- Understanding of cloud, SaaS, and IoT architectures and their implications to information security and data privacy strategies
- High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work both collaboratively and with little supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
