What’s my job title? Intern - Employer Branding & Social Media
Where in the world? Hybrid work environment: you can partly work from home and our office on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam for this role.
Working hours? For this role, you will operate within Central European Time (CET)
What language(s)? Being business proficient in written and verbal English is a must!
Employment type? Internship: able to commit to 32–40 hours per week
Internship Allowance? Granted allowance, total depending on your location and your number of working hours
Start Date? Available for at least six months – preferably starting September or October 2024
Do you Qualify? To qualify for this position, you must currently study for a bachelor's or secondary vocational education (HBO or MBO) degree. Ideally, in the direction of Social media, Marketing, Design, or Communications.
The Internship
We’re seeking an Employer Branding and Social Media Intern to join our People and Culture Team in Amsterdam for six months or more.
In this role, you will support content creation, drive impactful campaigns on social media and internal channels, and work alongside our amazing people team to learn all about people and culture at one of Amsterdam’s finest global tech companies.

Create employer branding content for social media channels
Come up with creative employer branding campaigns
Work on storytelling and brand assignments
Support with employee and networking events
Work with the talent development and acquisition teams
What You'll Bring
You’re a positive, hands-on, energized, and creative student with a lot of curiosity to help us share our story with future talent and internally with Birds.
Studying a bachelor or secondary vocational education (HBO or MBO) degree. Ideally, in the direction of Social Media, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or HR.
Social Media & Content Creation Experience: video editing, content creation, ideation, and storytelling (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, internal company channels).
Relevant experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, video editing, or related fields is a plus;
Hands-on attitude and very creative; out-of-the-box thinking and doing;
Drive to innovate and be curious
Fluent in English (business level);
Available for at least six months – preferably starting September 2024;
