  • Where in the world? You can work remotely from anywhere in Lithuania

  • Working hours? For this role, you will operate within the Central European Time (CET) 

  • What language(s) are required? Fluency in English 

We are looking for a proactive Payroll Specialist who makes sure our colleagues receive their compensation and benefits: accurately, efficiently and on time. The Payroll Specialist works closely with our People Operations, Finance and Payroll teams.

In this role you will be part of a rapidly-changing, diverse and fast-paced environment. Thriving on change must be part of your DNA. Challenges include driving payroll automation projects; cooperating and building efficient relationships with local and global third-party payroll partners; and launching payroll for new countries fast while complying to local regulation. 

What you’ll do

  • Execute accurate and timely payroll in over 11 countries across EMEA, APAC and LATAM

  • including but not limited to base and variable pay, equity compensation, payroll taxes, statutory and supplemental benefits.

  • Work closely with various external payroll service providers while maintaining relevant

  • records and ensure they are up to date.

  • Prepare monthly payroll journals and accruals, and monthly payroll reconciliations to all

  • financial statement line items including wage and payroll tax, as well as social security

  • taxes, pensions and leave balances.

  • Partner cross-functionally with People and Financial reporting teams in administering

  • payroll activities while delivering top-class service to the function and business, while also identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for positive change.

  • Monitor data compliance in our HRIS to ensure smooth execution of our Rewards and Benefits programs.

  • Document and maintain the payroll procedures manual for each respective country;

  • Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation as requested.

What you’ll bring 

  • You have 2+ years experience in payroll operations.

  • You have strong communication skills and are eager the challenge the status quo.

  • You are detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask.

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or HR.

  • Experience in global payroll operations is a plus.

Payroll can be unpredictable with last-minute changes and urgent issues that need immediate attention. Flexibility and adaptability are key here!
