Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Produce two detailed and well-researched blog posts per week (2-3 pages each) on best execution, transaction cost analysis, and related topics.
Social Media Engagement: Transform blog posts into engaging Twitter threads and Instagram carousels to expand our reach on social media.
Market Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the financial industry, incorporating timely news and events into your content.
Quantitative Analysis: Utilize light quantitative skills to identify significant events in the news and explain strategies for backrunning while minimizing trading costs.
Collaborative Work: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content consistency with our brand and strategic objectives.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest financial news and events, incorporating this knowledge into insightful and compelling content.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Educational Background: No formal education experience required. We prefer candidates who have a strong background in financial technology, analytics, or related fields.
Writing and Research Expertise: Exceptional writing and research skills with a focus on financial technology and analytics.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze and synthesize financial news and events.
Quantitative Aptitude: Basic quantitative skills to identify and explain how to leverage news events for backrunning and minimizing trading costs.
Social Media Proficiency: Proven experience in creating content for social media platforms, particularly Twitter and Instagram.
Self-Motivated: Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Location: Based in NYC (preferred but not required).
