Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Visualization: Develop, design, and implement advanced analytics and visualizations that allow users to interpret and interact with complex financial data. Create clear, actionable insights from raw data to help optimize trading execution and transaction cost analysis.
Custom Reporting: Build custom reporting tools that offer dynamic views into trade execution performance, slippage, liquidity, and other financial metrics. Ensure that reports are easy to use and understand by both technical and non-technical users.
Collaborate with Quantitative Teams: Work closely with quantitative researchers, data scientists, and engineers to align data analysis with the overall trading algorithms and strategies being developed. Contribute to the development and improvement of our machine learning models with actionable data insights.
Financial Market Analysis: Leverage large datasets from financial markets, identifying key trends and anomalies to help clients improve their execution strategies across various asset classes (equities, fixed income, etc.).
User-Friendly Dashboards: Design and build user-friendly dashboards that display real-time and historical financial data, providing users with the ability to backtest different trading strategies and analyze performance at a granular level.
Quality Control & Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data sources, while implementing best practices for data validation and performance tuning.
Data Storytelling: Translate complex datasets and analyses into compelling visual narratives that drive client understanding and decision-making, tailored to diverse audiences including traders, asset managers, and executive leadership.|
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or related discipline.
Experience in Data Visualization: Expertise in creating visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Familiarity with data visualization libraries in Python (e.g., Matplotlib, Plotly, Seaborn) is a plus.
Quantitative Analysis Skills: Proven experience in quantitative analysis, including statistical modeling, financial analysis, and handling large datasets. Experience in finance, trading, or transaction cost analysis is highly desirable.
Programming Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Python or R, with experience using relevant data libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy. Familiarity with SQL for querying and managing databases.
Financial Market Knowledge: A deep understanding of capital markets, trading strategies, and asset classes, particularly fixed income and equities.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring that all analyses and visualizations are accurate, clear, and provide actionable insights for clients.
Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including quants, engineers, and clients.
