Description

The Sales Development Associate is responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers or clients with the goal of generating sales leads for closing sales.
 
This position is a critical member of the sales and marketing team and requires a self-starter with a can-do, results-driven attitude. 



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct heavy outbound calls to prospective customers using Connect and Sell software and database.
  • Introduce products or services to potential clients and explain their benefits and features.
  • Qualify leads and gather relevant information such as contact details, needs, management company information, manager and telecom contact expiration date. Follow scripts or guidelines for effective communication and sales pitches.
  • Build rapport with prospects and address any objections or concerns they may have.
  • Set up appointments or meetings for the sales team with interested prospects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, interactions, and outcomes in salesforce CRM software.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Continuously learn about products, industry trends, and sales techniques to improve performance.
  • This individual should thrive in a fast paced, fast growth environment.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, or governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.  
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.), preferably in Business and/or a minimum of six years or more of related experience.
  • Three plus years of market development/research experience. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and beating quotas/targets. 
  • Knowledge of the bulk services market or telecommunications in Texas.
  • Excellent time management, goal setting, prospecting, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong and effective communication skills both orally and written.
