Senior Implementation Project Manager
Location: Remote - East Coast United States
The Senior Implementation Project Manager leads the planning and implementation of large and complex security infrastructure projects. This role demands extensive experience in project management and the ability to lead and mentor staff.

The Senior Implementation Project Manager leads the planning and implementation of large and complex security infrastructure projects. This role demands extensive experience in project management and the ability to lead and mentor staff.
Responsibilities:
- Direct full project lifecycle management of large-scale projects.
- Provide clear communication to internal and external stakeholders on project status.
- Implement project standards across projects for consistent service delivery.
- Create comprehensive deployment plans and document project lessons learned.
- Establish SOC monitoring and manage transitions to steady-state operations.
- Lead and provide guidance to Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
- Ensure strategic alignment of project goals with business objectives.
- Refine our methodology based on industry best practices with continuous feedback and well-defined metrics to drive improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Ensure procedural issues are quickly resolved and help implement strategies and solutions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.
- Identify opportunities for innovation including assessments of risk/reward to the company.
- Thrive in our small, fast-paced environment as a self-starter.
- Be comfortable learning new technologies quickly.
- Collaborate with teams from across the organization to address client needs.
- Produce deliverable under tight schedules.
- Document new processes to support new initiatives.
- Define and follow a disciplined workflow.
- Demonstrate ownership of tasks with escalation as needed.
- Relentlessly push for successful client outcomes.
- Possess a strong interest or background in cybersecurity.
- Exceptional project management skills with PMP certification beneficial.
- At least 7 years of project management experience, including program management.
- Experience with waterfall and other project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in managing projects in TCP/IP and cloud-based networks.
- Knowledge of security platforms (e.g., SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response)) and cloud-based networks.
- Prefer experience in a SOC (Security Operation Center) or MDR (Managed Detection and Response) operation.
