Senior Project Manager (Contractor)
Location: Remote in the United States
BlueVoyant is seeking a client-facing project manager for the design, deployment, and ongoing support of managed security infrastructure to join our internet-scale intelligence and managed security operation.

BlueVoyant is seeking a client-facing project manager for the design, deployment, and ongoing support of managed security infrastructure to join our internet-scale intelligence and managed security operation.
What you will do
- Guide clients through installation, chair client calls, and serve as client point of contact during implementation
- Manage all stages of onboarding lifecycle
- Create a deployment plan outlining sequence of activities for internal and external project team members.
- Track project milestones
- Provide communication to internal and external stakeholders on project status
- Set up SOC monitoring
- Collaborate with clients to configure equipment on client premises by managing internal technical resources
- Assist client transition to steady operations
- Document lessons learned
- Thrive in our small, fast-paced, product-driven environment as a self-starter
- Be comfortable learning new technologies quickly
- Collaborate with teams from across the organization to address client needs
- Deliver features and fixes on tight schedules and under pressure
- Present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Create processes that are maintainable, flexible and scalable
- Define and follow a disciplined development and engineering workflow
- Demonstrate ownership of tasks with escalation as needed
- Be a subject matter expert in one or more of the technologies employed
- Relentlessly push for successful customer outcomes
- Possess a strong interest or background in cyber security
- Contribute to all stages of architecture lifecycle, including service ideation, requirements gathering, architecture, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and support.
- Refine our methodology based on industry best practices with continuous feedback and well-defined metrics to drive improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
- Ensure procedural issues are quickly resolved and help implement strategies and solutions to reduce the likelihood of recurrence
- Identify competitive offerings and opportunities for innovation including assessments of risk/reward to the company
- Effectively communicate project status to key internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain up to date reporting for all projects
- Effectively manage very complex projects with multiple service lines
- Effectively manage risk
- Strong client and project management skills (PMP would be an asset)
- Experience with security platforms such as SIEM (Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel preferred), Vulnerability scanning solutions, and EDR agent solutions
- Experience with managing projects in TCP/IP and cloud based networks
- Prefer some experience in a SOC or MSS operation
- Experience managing programs.
- At least 7 years of project management experience
- Experience with waterfall methodology
