Botanic tonics is looking for an experienced-yet-scrappy Senior Social Media Strategist. In this role, you’ll craft and execute a comprehensive social and community strategy that’s more than just growing our Instagram following. You’ll work in lock-step with Brand & PR to implement strategies aimed at growing social reach, deepening community engagement, and leveraging community insights to drive broader marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
Community Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy that aligns with Botanic Tonics’ mission and goals
Lead content and comment moderation across social platforms by actively engaging with the community
Establish a process to identify brand and product loyalists to participate in testimonials, feedback sessions, etc.
Work with PR to maintain high levels of engagement with Customer Advisory Board members, ensuring that their thoughts are adequately captured and influence decision-making
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute a social media strategy across the relevant channels, including by not limited to Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook and LinkedIn
Work with Brand to identify creative content themes that can be brought to life through social campaigns
Develop the social content calendar that aligns with the broader marketing initiatives
Strategically manage and grow our presence across social channels, creating content that resonates with our audience and drives engagement.
Own the various methods of social content creation including: writing comprehensive briefs for creative team, editing existing long-form content to “social first” standards, and filming/producing net new content across channels
Influencer and Creator Management:
Identify and connect with potential influencers and advocates
Negotiate individual influencer agreements for content creation, usage rights, whitelisting, etc.
Own influencer relationships end-to-end
Brief & work with existing content creators to supplement in-house content generation
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field highly preferred
3-5 years of social & community management experience, preferably for a fast-paced CPG brand
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging a diverse online community
Experience with Later, IG Shops, Tiktok Shops, Shopify, and Asana
Working knowledge of photoshop and video editing tools
Genuine interest in our products and mission, eager to share knowledge and engage with customers
