Must have 2 years of experience working in US IT Staffing companies managing H1b employees payroll.
Job Description:
The role of staff accountant involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner. Interaction with vendors on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Keep track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintain historical records with accuracy in accounting/ book keeping
- Pay vendors and ensure payments are received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
- Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports
- Continue to improve the accounting processes
- Additional duties assigned by management as necessary
- Experience in Quickbooks a must
- 2-3 years of prior accounts payable/ receivables experience
- Degree in accounting preferred
- Professional demeanor
- Proficiency at Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
