Role: Senior AEM Cloud Developer
Years of Experience: 10+ years
Location: Remote
 
As a consultant within the DI team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value.
 
Job Description:
  • Strong customer facing AEM Lead:
  • Experience required:
  • 5 Development experience using any JCR based WCM products. AEM 6.x experience is mandatory.
  • 3 year's core experience of working on content management projects for AEM. 
  • Should have worked on at least 2 or more CMS migration programs
  • 5 years of Java programming experience
  • Experience on working headless CMS solutions, should understand the content rendering on a presentation layer powered by React or Angular.
  • Good understanding of the presentation layer architecture and solutions.
  • Good understanding of HTML, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS development, preferably with HTML5CSS3 exposure as well as responsive adaptive sites exposure.
  • CMS, JavaJ2EE, Sling, Application design and development experience
  • Requirement analysis, conceptual, logical and detailed design skills
  • Strong background in general security, performance and accessibility best practices a big plus
  • Should have an experience in Azure cloud.
  • Personalization Scenarios (Without Target)
  • Geo-Targeting: Deliver content based on the user's location.
  • Device-Based Personalization: Adapt content to different devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
  • New vs. Returning Visitor: Offer different content based on user type.
  • AEM's Built-in Personalization Features
  • Segments: Create user segments based on various criteria like location, device, or custom properties.
  • Teasers: Define personalized content variations for different segments.
  • Targeting: Apply rules to determine which content to display to specific segments.
Skill guidelines:
  • Overall experience of 5 years with 3 years of experience with AEM.
  • Strong understanding of the AEM platform, architecture and infrastructure setup, management and performance optimization to include Apache Sling, Apache Felix (OSGi) and the various implementations of the Java Content Repository (JCR) with AEM 6.x handson experience.
  • Strong understanding of the base templates and components provided by AEM
  • Understanding of the development and deployment process within AEM, including automated build processes using Apache Maven, Jenkins and Artifactory
  • Experience on migration from various CMS to AEM.
  • Experience on integrating with 3rd party systems on client side and server side.
  • Working with Project Teams at a Sprint level to ascertain implementation as per recommended architecture
  • Getting involved with partner teams on technical requirements and ascertaining smooth integration of all applications with one another
  • Mastery of all relevant core Java technologies that are used in most Java centric CMSWCM platforms, serverside programming models, and other related presentation, middletier & persistence frameworks
  • Education
  • Full time bachelor’s Master’s degree (Science or Engineering preferred)
