About the team
The Ripple team manages all the simultaneous collaborative editing for Canva. Ripple is a layer that sits between the Editor in the browser and the Document persistent layer. It receives, validates, resolves conflicts, merges, and pushes out state changes to users, allowing real time collaborative editing of a design. Ripple service serves more than 10 million user editing sessions per day.
About the role
We are looking to hire a engineering leader who is not just close to the code but also motivated to build a robust roadmap and evolve the Ripple service to meet future needs. You will be in the thick of it - working across technical design, roadmap definition, code architecture, engagement with key stakeholders across the technical leaders, and providing technical mentorship to the team. Working on a key part of the Canva infrastructure, you will help the Canva product stay secure and reliable at scale.
