The Security Team
The security department is the guardian of Chainlink Labs’ people and infrastructure. Its principal objective is to safeguard Chainlink Labs and its assets against potential threats from any external or internal source. This mission is accomplished through a combination of specialized security engineering, the deployment of cutting-edge technologies, forward-thinking policy development, and the training of highly skilled, security-aware personnel throughout the entire organization.

About The Role
This newly created position at Chainlink Labs is tailored specifically to drive forward Product Risk initiatives. As a dedicated Software Engineer specializing in risk management, you will play a pivotal role in constructing the Product Risk framework, encompassing scorecards, metrics, and insights essential for Chainlink Labs. Your responsibilities will span from curating and synthesizing these metrics to devising lightweight tooling solutions for teams, aiding them in navigating and mitigating risk factors within their areas.
You will be instrumental in developing internal tools geared towards effectively managing risk within blockchain operations. This multifaceted role entails collaborating closely with Engineers and Analysts to define important metrics, shaping decision-making processes through data visualization, and liaising with key stakeholders to operationalize the outcomes gained from these metrics.

- Blend your software engineering expertise with your background working with data to create tooling and monitoring solutions to be used across the company.

- Numerous examples of delivering key insights to senior leaders and peers after extracting and analysing data from SaaS platform API's.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data modeling and SQL, adept at constructing agile and resilient data pipelines capable of handling substantial scale.
- Proven track record in evaluating risks or threats, adept at articulating findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Seasoned in navigating and overseeing Product Risks, demonstrating prowess in effectively classifying and categorizing potential risks.
- High levels of autonomy, showcasing a history of spearheading data projects from inception to fruition, fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in crafting intuitive dashboards utilizing data visualization tools, ensuring key insights are easily accessible and comprehensible.
- Strong experience with cloud services such as GoogleBigQuery, AWS and Databricks.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their implementation for anomaly detection.
- Proven ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
