We are on a mission to overhaul the insurance industry’s technology and data infrastructure. We believe that existing solutions are outdated, inflexible, and insufficient to meet the needs of innovative insurance carriers and their distribution partners.
Our solution is a customizable, easy-to-use, and centralized producer management and compensation system that is purpose-built for the insurance industry. By using our cloud native platform, carriers and their distribution partners can free themselves from operational constraints imposed by legacy software, static compensation structures, and manual processes. We unlock growth opportunities by giving our customers the flexibility and insights needed to manage commissions as a revenue driver instead of as a cost-center and by enabling our customers to better engage with and retain their agents through our mobile-first agent app.

Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Duties: Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data schemas to ensure data is stored and accessed efficiently. Design sensible APIs by implementing and deploying APIs that properly balance business concerns, simplicity, and flexibility. Develop robust APIs and innovate solutions to solve immediate customer pain points. Develop the backend application using Golang to both build out business logic and define workflows using Temporal. Develop frontend features in TypeScript using React.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 12 months of experience in job offered, software development, or related occupation. Any amount of experience in additional requirements section below will be acceptable unless specific amount is noted. All experience can be concurrent.
Additional requirements: Prior academic background or work experience to include:
1) Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
2) Experience with Golang, TypeScript, or a similar programming language or ecosystem.
3) Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker or Kubernetes.
4) Experience with Git, writing technical specs, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers.
