About the Team
The Engineering team at Clari is an Agile shop that practices Scrum across all of our teams. We layer in coordination practices such as Big Room Planning to stay aligned to Clari’s KPIs quarterly across sites and teams. Groove serves some of the most historically underserved users, many of whom have been stuck using unintuitive and clunky software for their whole careers. It's not uncommon that users spend 4-6 hours a day using and interacting with Groove. Our goal is to elevate the user and the work they can do.
About the Role
We're looking for awesome, well-rounded engineers who want to take on big projects, collaborate closely with others, grow, and help shape the future of the company. You will help us define our culture as we change how companies and teams sell, as well as drive the adoption of best practices. In addition, you will mentor and contribute towards the overall testing strategy for the product and framework.
Our engineering organization is split into product-based squads. You'll be joining the productivity squad, which is responsible for the Chrome Extension and the Outlook add-in, and working most closely with each engineer and product manager within the squad.
This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.
- Design and perform functional, load, integration, API, and end-to-end testing to verify product quality and release readiness
- Build testing systems for shared components and capabilities used across different products
- Develop test strategies, test plans, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor, measure, and report on software quality, security, and delivery performance
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and test coverage of software component
- Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to ensure automated testing is enabled and running efficiently
- Work as a developer to design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems that serve as product foundations
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test tools and test suites to ensure efficient and effective test coverage
- Mentor peers on best engineering practices and advocate for a culture of high quality within platform products
- Actively participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions
- 8+ years of experience with various automation testing, including unit, functional, load, integration, API, and end-to-end testing
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Typescript, Python or equivalent, including code review experience
- Ability to read, understand, and contribute to code written in a wide variety of languages
- Hands-on experience with testing runners like TestNG, JUnit and automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, or WebdriverIO
- Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, or similar
- Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and other database implementations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in planning and tracking test environments and test data fixtures
- SaaS, CRM, and Enterprise software experience are a plus
- Exposure to microservices architecture is a plus
- Strong experience in building load tests from scratch is a plus
- Experience in building or testing Chrome Extensions and/or MS Outlook add-ins is a plus
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
