Title: IT Service Desk Engineer


The IT Service Desk Engineer is responsible for maintaining our IT configuration management systems and supporting end users via phone, email, and chat. In this position, you will provide technical assistance and support to users with laptop hardware or software issues. You will also respond to tickets, interpret logs, isolate issues, and implement solutions.


This role reports to the Senior Director of Information Security & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a MacOS environment of 150+ users
  • Manage and maintain our configuration management platform (JAMF) 
  • Promote, recommend, and enforce security and compliance standards 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues across our user base
  • Manage our support ticketing system
  • Communicate directly with end users and troubleshoot issues to completion
  • Assist the security team in enforcing business information security standards and procedures.


To be successful in this role you may have:
  • 3+ years of helpdesk/IT support experience
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Experience managing a help desk queue to serve the business and end users
  • An eagerness to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced startup environment

Pay Transparency: For New York and California, the base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $87,000 annually. Outside of those states, the base salary range is $62,000 - $79,000 annually. In addition to a base salary, Cleo offers the following benefits: health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 15 paid holidays, 5-day winter break, unlimited flexible vacation time, sick time, 16 weeks paid parental leave, 401(k) plan, disability insurance, life insurance, wellness perks, and more.
