We started in healthcare and have since expanded into education with the same two-sided marketplace, by providing substitute teachers and other classroom staff greater flexibility to work when and where they want, while giving schools access to on-demand talent.
About the Role:
We are extremely excited about the opportunities we’re seeing in providing substitute teachers and other classroom staff to K-12 schools, and we want to double down on it. For this role we are looking for someone who loves the idea of spending all day engaging their own prospects and taking them through the entire sales process from first engagement to close. This role could be the right fit if you have a passion for sales and a desire to drive growth at a startup within a startup.
You also care about schools and education and are willing to vouch for a product that will help improve their lives. You should believe in our vision and the value in creating a more accessible way for schools to bring in qualified substitute teachers.
You should expect to:
- Own the end to end sales process for at least one market
- Make over 300 dials per week to engage prospects and book demos
- Execute the demos you book and close prospects yourself
- Track and document account and decision-maker details in our CRM
- Learn how our value proposition applies to schools so that you can engage in quality conversation on the phone and in demos
An excellent hire will:
- Book 7+ school demos for yourself every week through top of funnel outreach
- Close almost all of those demos in addition to inbound demos
- Win over schools with fast follow through, strong attention to detail, great judgment and palpable customer empathy
- Communicate insights and blockers from conversations to help inform how to make our pitch better for schools
