About This Role:
The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing Coastline’s hiring
strategies to support business growth. This role will directly manage a team of recruiters and
contract recruiters, overseeing full-cycle recruiting efforts primarily for Driving Instructors, as
well as management, administrative, and additional HQ roles. The ideal candidate is a
strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building high-performing
teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting Leadership & Strategy
● Directly manage a team of recruiters and contract recruiters, ensuring effective
execution of hiring initiatives for Driving Instructors, as well as management,
administrative, and HQ roles.
● Develop and implement recruiting strategies aligned with business goals.
● Oversee hiring efforts, ensuring a structured and effective recruitment process.
● Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
● Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and forecast hiring
demands.
● Work closely with HR and department leaders to align recruiting efforts with Coastline's
culture and values.
● Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on hiring trends and workforce planning,
particularly for Driving Instructors, management, administrative, and HQ roles.
● Ensure collaboration across teams to maintain consistency in hiring practices and
candidate experience.
Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development
● Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
● Utilize job boards, social media, and referral programs to attract candidates.
● Implement creative sourcing methods to reach high-quality talent pools.
Process Optimization & Compliance
● Improve and standardize recruiting processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and
alignment to Coastline Operations.
● Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company hiring regulations.
● Track and report key recruiting metrics to measure success and drive improvements.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
● Enhance Coastline's employer brand through engagement initiatives.
● Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication
throughout the hiring process.
● Represent Coastline at job fairs, conferences, and recruitment events.
Qualifications and Key Attributes for Success:
● 5+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR, with at least 2 years in a
leadership role.
● Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes and best practices.
● Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and
sourcing tools.
● Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Paylocity.
● Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
● Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.
● Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous process
improvement.
