We are looking for a human-centered, data-informed, and pricing-focused Project Controls Pricing Analyst to join our growing, distributed team at Coforma.
The Project Controls Pricing Analyst will provide a full range of business operations support, collaborating with our Financial Controller to determine pricing strategy, develop accounting plans, and execute them in service of the organization. The ideal candidate for this role has a unique blend of project controls, pricing analysis, and accounting experience.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing Coforma’s overall financial performance and modeling our potential for the future. This includes understanding key business drivers and identifying key performance metrics. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for providing pricing and estimating analysis to support proposal strategies. You'll also help develop pricing models and conduct submission quality checks, subcontracting data calls, cost estimating, pricing matrix, and audit support.

$117,420 to $143,170 Annual Salary + Benefits + Growth Potential
Placement within this range will be based on the competency level of the candidate. An offer will be made at one of the following tiers:
Tier 1: $117,420 — Meets minimum qualification/experience requirements. Beyond onboarding, will need additional guidance and training to perform key responsibilities of the role.
Tier 2: $130,810 — Experienced and fully-competent. Beyond onboarding, can independently perform key responsibilities of the role.
Tier 3: $143,170 — Highly experienced and can perform all responsibilities of the role at a higher level than expected once onboarding is completed.
To honor our company-wide equitable pay system, the posted salary range and corresponding tier salaries are non-negotiable.

\n- Develop and manage project budgets, including estimates, cost forecasts, and cost control measures
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other project expenditures
- Perform cost analysis to ensure projects remain within budget, and Implement cost-tracking procedures to ensure transparency and identify any potential budget overruns
- Identify, assess, and monitor project risks including schedule, cost, and scope risks and develop and implement mitigation plans to address them
- Monitor project performance against baseline plans, identifying potential issues or variances
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to stakeholders
- Provide proactive recommendations for corrective actions based on performance data
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including budgets, reports, and other critical project records
- Ensure all project changes and deviations are well-documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders
- Support audits, project reviews, and quality assurance processes
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contracts, and other team members to ensure that project controls are integrated into all aspects of project execution
- Facilitate project control meetings, workshops, and reviews
- Co-own the competitive pricing strategies for new business pursuits to achieve the business’ revenue goals
- Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
- Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategy on profitability
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies
- Develop dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to the changing market needs and trends
- Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to executives and the Business Development Team
- Will oversee execution and, over time, updates to company financial model for new business opportunities
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accounting or Pricing Analyst position with a focus on federal government opportunities
- 2+ years of experience working with multi-award contract vehicles, task order bids, and price-to-win strategy preferred
- Experience anticipating accounting, financial reporting, and forecasting
- A passion for applying strategy, design, and technology to help businesses change the way they interact with customers, each other, and the world at large
- Flexible and innovative with strong attention to detail and comfortable working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (whether written, verbally, or through assistive technologies/aids) with exceptional follow-up and organization skills
- Full-time resident of the contiguous United States (must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship)
- 2+ years of experience working on a remote team or remote freelancing
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting in a government or federal contracting environment
- Internet: Will prioritize and maintain access to strong, reliable internet for the remote nature of our work, except when on vacation or holiday.
- Security: Will keep the highest security practices to ensure privacy and security of Coforma and client information, given the nature of our work, even when on vacation.
