Positon Overview:
The VPS (Valuation & Property Services) Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for assisting in managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of education curriculum projects. This position is part of the Valuation and Property Services division as Colibri which serves appraisal, home inspection, land surveying, and professional engineering with high quality professional learning and training products.
Content and courses include but are not limited to, qualifying education (QE), exam preparation, continuing education (CE), training experiences including certification preparation and review courses, webinars, and other learning modalities. The Curriculum Coordinator will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the educational objectives and standards as defined for each course. This role requires someone that is incredibly organized and resourceful with sharp attention to detail and timeliness
\n- In collaboration with on-staff SME, writes Statements of Work (SOWs) for authorship of courses and coordinates circulation, approval, and signatures.
- Onboards and trains subject matter expert (SME) contractors on processes with an emphasis on developing a good rapport with authors, reviewers, and learners.
- Collaborates closely with and assists the Director of Curriculum and internal SMEs to validate content relevance and accuracy.
- On a daily business, reviews and tracks the content development process, schedule, and workflow with teammates in Course Design and Production – assuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and of high quality.
- Assists in ensuring regulatory requirements and schedules are met for relevant courses.
- Assists in guiding content and curriculum through end-to-end process including external and internal resources; troubleshoots as needed.
- Keeps all stakeholders updated on delivery dates, delays, or blockers with weekly Monday report for weekly focus .
- Updates Monday.com daily to ensure the Roadmap is accurately reflecting courses’ stages.
- Assists in developing content playbooks and processes to make content acquisition, writing, and production as efficient as possible.
- Assists in managing content budget and ensures SME and other invoices are paid in a timely manner.
- Assists in preparation of content and curriculum overview briefs to ensure teammates have necessary information to support product operations and GTM planning.
- Provides or leads response of content needs to sales teams.
- Assists in implementing quality control processes to review and evaluate course functionality and course materials for accuracy.
- Participates in various committees as required. Coordinates with other teams (e.g. – product, production, instructional designers, video developers, marketing, creative, accreditation, and editing) to ensure timely and accurate scheduling of content.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure content plan is executed to meet the needs of the customer and internal stakeholders, ie, marketing/ecommerce needs.
- Executes regular check-ins with Director of Curriculum and Subject Matter Experts to ensure maximum cohesion and effectiveness; identifies risks and clearly communicates goals to ensure tight coordination on project progress and deadlines.
- Proactively manages roadmap and delivery schedules.
- Establishes productivity goals and regularly meets or exceeds them.
- Completes other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in publishing, journalism, or related field preferred; applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in publishing, or developing/editing/producing educational content.
- Experience with online or live stream learning design and/or education technology is desirable.
- Experience using Monday.com and NetSuite is preferred.
- Background in appraisal, mortgage lending, engineering, home inspection, and/or land surveying is desirable.
