Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will create a variety of digital and print media assets for our clients as part of our government contract requirements. This role involves working collaboratively with the marketing team and our clients. The Marketing Specialist supports the business advisors and administration team in efforts of contract compliance and provides exceptional service to our customers in creating capability statements, logos, websites, and marking plans. This role is intended to provide a wide range of support activities to clients as specified by the appropriate government contract.
\n- Design and update capability statements (one-page, graphic business summary) for all clients through client interviews and with designated templates and software
- Design and update websites using the GoDaddy website builder platform through collaboration with clients
- Design and update marketing plans for clients based on client need
- Create logos for clients, along with requested revisions
- Design/Revise CEI marketing assets, as requested
- Prepare and submit monthly reports which track client requests and status (requires proficient use of word and excel)
- Update the Asana database with workload changes
- Coach clients with website issues and DNS Records changes along with any other technical issues, as required
- Participate, when needed with marketing request for live events and trainings and help with requests regarding designing any marketing assets necessary to achieve business goals
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience can substitute for formal education.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, including both digital and print media; events experience a plus
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PPT
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design tools.
- An understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once
