Real is seeking an Events Manager to join our Marketing team. The successful candidate is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing virtual and in-person events to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for our participants.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Execution:
Plan, organize, and execute events from conception to completion.
Manage virtual event platforms and technologies to enhance participant engagement and interaction.
Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of events run smoothly.
Technology Integration:
Stay abreast of the latest event technologies and trends, and integrate innovative solutions to enhance virtual event experiences.
Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during virtual events.
Manage event-related technology for in-person events including registration platform, event website, event app
Use project management tools to collaborate with team members on event event deliverables
Audience Engagement:
Develop strategies to maximize attendee engagement before, during, and after events.
Implement gamification, networking opportunities, and interactive elements to keep participants actively involved during virtual events..
Analyze audience feedback and metrics to continually improve event strategies.
Project Management:
Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for event programs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of events are executed seamlessly.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of events.
Post-Event Analysis:
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and gather feedback for improvement.
Generate reports on key performance indicators and use data-driven insights to refine future event strategies.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven experience in planning and executing multiple virtual and in-person events simultaneously.
Passion for events and a collaborative attitude.
Strong project management, attention to detail, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of virtual event platforms and emerging event technologies.
Tech-savvy with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt to changing trends.
Ability to travel to events as needed, generally twice per year.
Ability to work outside of traditional business hours as needed at various times throughout the event planning cycle.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications or other related field preferred
5-7 years of event planning experience
Experience with event technology platforms, Canva and Asana
