This position requires a hands-on approach and offers a unique opportunity to shape the cybersecurity landscape in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant impact potential. You will also ensure that technology platforms adhere to control standards, maintain the quality of program documentation, and drive the development of a robust cybersecurity controls framework.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment and execution of IT general control and application control testing; manage the identification of findings, establish relevant compensating controls, and oversee the remediation, validation, and closure of findings within defined timeframes.

  • Design and implement controls for new technology platforms and existing systems to ensure they align with cybersecurity standards and best practices.

  • Drive multiple controls adoption readiness assessments, providing expertise and leadership to team members across various projects.

  • Evaluate and enhance the functionality of technology platforms to ensure adherence to control standards, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation in control design.

  • Communicate and report progress, risks, and outcomes of control programs to senior management stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to document and improve current-state control processes, process flows, and ensure cross-functional alignment.

  • Analyze the results of internal and external audits for cross-impacts on other programs, recommending and implementing necessary adjustments.

  • Ensure the highest quality standards are achieved in the development, maintenance, and execution of cybersecurity program documentation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Deep knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity auditing, particularly in IT general controls (SOX / SOC 1 / SOC 2) and application controls.

  • Proven ability to lead and execute multiple, complex assessments across different groups of stakeholders, with a focus on driving results.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.

  • High energy, with a passion for creating and implementing high-impact cybersecurity solutions.

  • Self-motivated and autonomous, with a strong initiative to learn new technologies and implement best practices independently.

  • Results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.

  • Excellent ability to work in a global, matrixed organization, driving outcomes in a collaborative team environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Formal training or certification in audit functions with at least 7+ years of IT controls experience, preferably in a senior role within a "Big Four" or leading IT consulting firm.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and leading cybersecurity controls programs from inception to completion.
