RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technical Product Manager plays a critical role in the success of the Common Application system by driving the definition, development, and roll-out of technical solutions. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to align product development with business processes, user needs, and organizational goals. Acting as a product owner within an Agile framework, the Technical Product Manager ensures effective communication, manages priorities, and supports the successful launch and adoption of Common App solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
This role requires:
- Candidates must live in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from four-year college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-6 years of successful, progressive experience in a product management or related position working closely with modern web-based software solutions.
- Skilled project manager with a proven ability to scope, develop, track and accurately manage technical products, including deliverables, timelines and follow through.
- Strong problem-solving, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build solid relationships and support among a broad range of people and positions.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and diverse environment and take initiative in individual contributor work.
- Strong organizational and demonstrated ability to effectively support and lead teams productively in a matrixed team environment
- Demonstrated self-guided initiative.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in Agile scrum methodology as a product owner
- Experience in higher education enrollment management
- A passion for higher education is a plus.
PAY RANGE
$95,000 - $106,632
