Your Role and Responsibilities
CoreWeave maintains both a world class carrier grade backbone network, and runs numerous cloudscale datacenter fabrics, which are central to the direct success of our customer workloads, as well as our critical internal supporting infrastructure.
As a Sr. Manager of Datacenter Network Engineering at CoreWeave, your responsibilities will include working closely with Engineers to maintain a high level of knowledge about day to day work. You will be working with Architects, Engineers, Product, and other Managers to define and develop internal engineering roadmaps. You will work to help build, and implement processes around operations, and ensure your teams are well equipped to be successful! And, you wonโt be afraid to get your hands dirty with the team when necessary!
Qualifications & Expectations
7+ years experience in the following areas:
- Working closely with Engineers & Engineering Managers
- Experience supporting large infrastructure projects
- Running point in planning and executing on critical infrastructure projects
- Experience dealing with Vendors in support of the Engineering teams
- Build programs around reliability engineering
- At least a high level understanding of networking concepts
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code
- Worked in Cloud Computing in various forms (Not limited solely to IaaS)
- A great attitude, without an ego, and a willingness to help foster growth at all levels
- Incident management & Incident Coordination
- Knowledge of Datacenter Routing Protocols, Python, or general scripting is a plus, but not a must-have.
- Must be willing to travel once a quarter for Team & Leadership meetups.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $200,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $250,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
