CrossFit is looking to hire a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing Team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing CrossFit’s social media strategy. You will also oversee CrossFit's social media presence, driving engagement, and developing innovative campaigns to enhance the brand.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:           

Social Media Strategy:

      ○  Execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand goals.

      ○  Lead the development of integrated social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.

      ○  Stay updated on evolving industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

Content Development & Management

      ○  Oversee the creation of compelling and on-brand content for various social media platforms.

      ○  Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all social channels.

      ○  Utilize data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Community Engagement

      ○  Foster a strong and engaged community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and positively.

      ○  Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation.

  Analytics & Reporting

      ○Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of social media campaigns and provide detailed reports to key stakeholders.

      ○Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve social media metrics continuously.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:

     ○  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and product development, to ensure social media strategies align with overall business objectives.

     ○  Work closely with influencers and partners to amplify the brand's reach and impact.

 

KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL:

  Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

  Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful social media campaigns.

  Ability to be an effective decision-maker in high-pressure situations

  Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Iconik, Google Drive), and SMM platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros, Later).

  Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.

●Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  The discipline, flexibility, and self-starter mentality required to work as part of a high-performing, distributed team

  Passion for fitness and a genuine interest in the CrossFit community and industry.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

  Proven experience (3-5 years) in social media management, preferably within the sports or health and fitness industry.
