We are seeking an Instructional Designer & Content Lead to drive the creation and delivery of customer-facing educational content across both live and asynchronous formats. In this role, you will design scalable training material, revamp existing content, and leverage our LMS to build interactive on-demand learning experiences. This role is pivotal to driving customer success by delivering high-quality content that boosts product adoption, engagement, and better results for our practices with our lab product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development and Management
Design, develop, and optimize modular, interactive training content for both live (e.g., webinars, instructor-led) and asynchronous formats (e.g., Skilljar, videos, email).
Regularly review and enhance existing materials to ensure clarity, relevance, and engagement.
Identify content gaps and create scalable, impactful resources, including videos and interactive modules, to address evolving customer needs.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex concepts into accessible, accurate, and engaging learning experiences.
Customer Education Strategy and Delivery
Build the content for a customer education journey that supports onboarding and sustained engagement, driving both initial ramp-up and long-term product mastery.
Partner with customer marketing and lifecycle teams to distribute educational content, including webinars, email campaigns, and self-paced modules, to the right audiences.
Own continuing education initiatives to reinforce and deepen product knowledge, ensuring retention and adoption.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
Track the effectiveness of educational initiatives using key metrics such as engagement, satisfaction scores, and product adoption rates.
Gather and analyze feedback from training sessions to continuously improve program quality and tailor content to customer needs.
Ensure all training programs and content are accessible, impactful, and aligned with the customer education strategy.
What Weβre Looking For:
5+ years in instructional design, eLearning development, or customer education, with expertise in live and asynchronous content.
3+ years working with LMS platforms (Skilljar preferred) to build and manage scalable learning paths.
Content Creation: Skilled in developing engaging training materials using tools like Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and video editing software.
Instructional Design: Strong grasp of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies to simplify complex topics.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Technical Education: Background in SaaS, technical product education, or related industries.
Customer Focus: Creative, proactive, and committed to delivering impactful educational experiences.
Bonus Points for familiarity with the dental industry or a background in dentistry.
