Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure company wide ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 compliance

  • Carrying out safety inspections and control of implementation.

  • Carrying out prevention plans.

  • Risk assessments and preventive planning.

  • Coordination on preventive design of workplaces, identification and assessment of risks, prevention plans and training plans for workers.

  • Application and supervision of compliance of the applicable international Health and Safety regulations.

  • Training in occupational risk prevention specific to the sector.

  • Management of of coordination of business activities and health surveillance

  • Management of emergency and first aid measures. 

  • Accident investigations, accident rate monitoring.

  • Adaptation of job positions.

  • Carrying out Health and Safety measurements and reports.

Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• B.S. or M.S. in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related

• Knowledge of international Health and Safety regulations (including Spanish regulations)
• Exceptional organizational skills

• Exceptional interpersonal communicator

• Proven leader with demonstrated experience in leading teams

• Excellent computer competency

• Proficient and comfortable with public speaking

• Ability to be available in the case of an emergency event

Desirable

• Experience in Emergency Management and/or Health and Safety, in a remote work context

• Experience with  ISO 45001 and ISO 45003

• Experience in staffing and recruitment industry preferred
