We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled SAP Web Services Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technologies, extensive experience in web service development, and a deep understanding of integration methodologies.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize web services that facilitate seamless data extraction from SAP systems, enabling efficient information access for various applications and processes.
This is a remote position open to candidates from any part of LATAM.
Duration of contract: 3 months
Requirements
- Experience with SAP HANA and SAP Cloud Platform for developing cloud-based integrations
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori for developing user-friendly interfaces to access SAP data.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Objects for reporting and analytics on SAP data
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Main activities
- Design, develop, and maintain web services using SAP technologies (such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP Gateway, SAP PI/PO) to facilitate data retrieval.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for accessing SAP data through web services, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Optimize web service performance and scalability to accommodate large volumes of data and diverse usage scenarios.
- Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and implementation details for web services, ensuring comprehensive documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans for validating the functionality, performance, and security of web services.
Education
- Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
