Software Engineer II - Unreal Engine

THE ROLE
As part of the Software Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in developing advanced 3D simulations in Unreal to generate CV-ML synthetic data. These simulations drive the machine-learning capabilities powering VR and AR devices. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—spanning rendering, optics, systems, and algorithm development—to create, validate, and refine cutting-edge simulation features that operate at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design and build simulations, rendering features and synthetic data pipeline capabilitiesCode using primarily C++ and PythonInterface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versaConduct design and code reviewsAnalyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resourcesDrive performance measurement, analysis, and optimizationWork with technical artists and infrastructure teams to debug performance issues across the stack
WHO YOU ARE
BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields6+ years of relevant experience building games or simulations in Unreal or other game engineExperience with 3D computer vision or computer graphicsExperience improving stability through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changesExperienced in utilizing data and analysis to explain technical problems and providing detailed feedback and solutionsAbility to work with minimal direction and manage a project independently from start to finishProof of eligibility to work in the United States
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
