Job Description
Dynatrace is seeking a proven and dynamic leader to serve as a Global Finance Project Analyst to support its finance and accounting operations. Do you have a passion for technology, transformation, and efficient business process design?
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting multiple global finance and accounting initiatives including implementation of our global payroll process as well as enhancements to procure to pay systems and processes and other automation initiatives to enable our operations to scale with our fast-growing business. In addition, we are looking for individuals who are excited about identifying opportunities for improved processes and systems and developing programs to enhance operations and functionality on a continuous basis.
Responsibilities
- Supporting all finance projects and initiatives within the organization
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations, finance, business systems, technology stakeholders, and senior management to ensure successful delivery of projects and change initiatives.
- Preparing detailed & complex process maps, FRDs, summary updates and other project documentation to a high standard
- Identifying and assessing risk associated with project deliverables and develop mitigation strategies to minimize those risks.
- Engaging stakeholders to understand existing systems, processes and develop best-in-class and most efficient business processes.
- Keeping management stakeholders informed as required for key decisions that need to be ratified.
- Providing guidance and support to all stakeholders and SMEs to ensure alignment on project deliverables and expectations.
- Ensure outcomes meet or exceed expected value and returns on project investments.
- Ability to support multiple time zones to work with regional stakeholders.
- Travel expected to be approximately 20% but must be available to travel within the US, Europe, and Australia
Qualifications
- Practitioner certification in Change Management desirable
- Project delivery certification desirable
- Experience working in (or have extensive knowledge of processes) in accounting functions including general ledger, payroll, collections, payables, etc.
- Experience designing and operating effective internal controls.
- Proven experience in a project analyst role
- Previous achievement of digital transformation initiatives
- Experience working with global operations teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong process and project management skills/ability to support change.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other business, product and technology teams and ability to deliver results through influence.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in accounting and financial teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable connecting with and communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization and in every region in which we operate.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task while exhibiting strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience using project management and process mapping tools.
