During your day as a Tech Lead, you will:
- Lead a team of technical professionals, being developers and/or quality assurance engineers;
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, mentorship, and support their career development;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and provide technical solutions that align with business objectives;
- Design and develop technical solutions using the latest technologies and best practices;
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives;
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and innovation within the team;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, promoting effective communication and trust;
- Ensure successful project delivery through effective leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving;
- Continuously improve team processes and practices to increase efficiency and quality.
As a Tech Lead, you need to have:
- Have strong communication skills in English (Advanced - Fluent);
- At least 1 year working as a Tech or Team Leader;
- 5-7 years experience in Python: Demonstrated expertise in Python development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality code and solutions;
- 2 years experience in React: Proficiency in React e-development, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers in this technology;
- Database Knowledge and Query Optimization: Deep understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL, and the ability to optimize queries for performance;
- Excellent people skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team of technical professionals, provide mentorship and guidance through one-on-one meetings, and build strong relationships with stakeholders;
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies;
- Experience with cloud technologies;
- Be able to work according to Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Preferred Skills:
- Logistics: Knowledge and experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields would be a valuable asset;
- Operational Research: Familiarity with operational research techniques and methodologies;
- Econometrics: Your background in econometrics could bring a unique perspective to data analysis and modeling tasks;
- Documentation: As someone who values documentation, you will ensure that code and project documentation are maintained at a high standard.
